Come drum with us and welcome in the New Year at this Community Drum Circle. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED/Instruments are provided. What better way to welcome the first day of 2020 then to connect with others through making music and laughter.
This circle is led by Michelle Montgomery Muth, MT-BC, music therapist and trained drum circle facilitator. Whether you are new to drum circles or a veteran, Michelle’s job is to make everyone feel comfortable and to guide the music making…until it takes on a life of its own! Think you don’t have rhythm? Try again, you have a heartbeat – yes? Michelle will help you become comfortable finding your rhythm and connecting with others through music. NO MUSIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Instruments will be provided. If you have your own you are welcome to bring it.
This is a smoke and alcohol-free environment.

FAQs
Do I have to know how to play the drum or any percussion instrument?
NO. A Great thing about a facilitated drum circle is that NO MUSIC EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED. You’ll be shown how to play your instrument and then create whatever sounds you’d like as we make music together.
Is registration required
While not required, as we know New Year’s Day can be unpredictable (or life in general), we encourage registration so we know how full to pack the car with instruments!
Where is parking for the event?
Studio H is located between Harper’s Barbershop & Express Employment Professionals in Monaca (MAP). There is a parking lot available with ample parking. It’s the middle section of the building that is a beautiful sky blue color.
What can I bring into the event?
You are welcome to bring your own drum or other percussion instruments(s) but NOT required as instruments will be provided.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes. We will miss you, but please contact us to let us know who will be attending in your place.
Location notes:
Studio H is located next to the BP Gas Station and in the same building as Harper’s Barbershop. It is a beautiful bright sky blue building in the midst of bright green and yellow – you can’t miss it.
